[edit] Ricky Gervais Cameo

Take a friend (Packie or Jacob works) to the Comedy Club in Star Junction (central island) and Ricky will perform a stand up routine.

[edit] The Heart of Liberty City Easter Egg

Once you gain access to Happiness Island, find the Helicopter Tours (which is directly east of Happiness Island), and steal a helicopter.

Fly to Happiness Island and over the Statue of Happiness, then jump out of the helicopter at the statue's feet. You should land on the top-most tier of the statue, which is basically a square platform with a door in the center of each side.

Run around the platform until you see a door with a plaque on either side of it that reads, "No Hidden Content Here. It may seem like you cannot go through the door, but you can - it doesn't open, you simply walk through the door. You will find an empty room with a tall ladder inside. Climb it, and when you reach the top, look up to see a huge beating heart, held in place by chains.

[edit] Happiness Island Sweater

When you step up to the first door on the topmost tier of the statue (see above) you're given a Happiness Island sweater with the slogan, "Happiness is.." on the front and "...land" on the back.

[edit] Blowout

Hold left or right and hold the gas and brake buttons you will perform donuts after a few seconds the tire will blow leaving just the rim and lots of sparks.

[edit] Prank Calls

Here's something funny to try. During your adventure through Liberty City, you may find phone numbers written in inconspicuous places, such as on the side of a building or in the subway. If you dial these numbers, you'll usually get someone on the other end who you can subsequently prank.

[edit] Fire Truck Madness

If you boost a fire truck, press the fire button while driving around. This will allow you to shoot the super-powerful water cannon at anyone around you.

[edit] Buildings of Old

Go behind the Memory Lanes bowling alley on Firefly Island and check out the golf course. Some of the attractions are actually small models of familiar landmarks from previous games! There's the Ocean View Hotel from Vice City, The World's Biggest Cock and a Wind Turbine from San Andreas and a few other buildings. Pretty cool of Rockstar to include them into the game!

[edit] Child's Play

In Dukes, near Francis International Airport, is a child's buggy! Who knows what it is supposed to represent or why it is indeed there in the first place? Still though, it's an interesting and slightly creepy thing to check out.

[edit] Blast from the Past

Some of the ringtones you can choose for the more "modern" phones are actually songs from Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories!

[edit] Hidden Artwork

There is quite a lot of artwork hidden throughout the game. Across the road from the Bank of Liberty is a building with some artwork of a motorbike from Vice City, El Burro, D-Ice and 8-Ball from GTA III and the GTA III box art, all mixed in with some generic graffiti.

There is also some Banksy street art hidden in the game as well. Banksy is a British street artist who is known for his graffti masterpieces. Some of his artwork is hidden throughout Liberty City.

[edit] Familiar Sights

On the TV you can see some adverts featuring places from other games made by Rockstar Games. You can see the Bullworth Academy, Los Santos International Airport, Vinewood, the Las Venturas Strip and more. They even look a little bit like GTA IV on the small screen!

[edit] Dead Protagonists

It looks like Dan Houser wasn't lying when he mentioned that most of the old characters are "dead anyway". On a wall in Bohan, you can find some graffiti of all the old protagonist's names (Claude, Tommy, Carl, Toni and Victor) with messages such as "R.I.P", "We'll miss you", "We will never forget" and "You're still my hero!" clearly suggesting that they are all dead as of 2008. The only protagonist that we have previously seen die was Victor Vance, in the opening sequence of Vice City. Lots of people debated this to be someone else (despite all the evidence to the contrary), but it doesn't matter as they are all definitely dead now anyway.

[edit] Salvatore's Mansion

In Alderney, you will have to meet up with Ray and Phil at a borded up mansion. This is actually a derelict version of Salvatore's mansion from GTA III and GTA LCS, which has sadly been left to rot and decay all these years.
