This template makes a sidebar for game pages with the main information about the game.

Retail game useage:

You can leave out any field except name.


Definition of fields:

name - the game's name

img - a representative image for the game that has been uploaded. Use the box art or title screen.

platform - the game's platform. Use a Game Platform Template

publisher - the game game's publisher. Use a Game Publisher Template

developer - the developer of the game. You may want to link to their website, or the wikipedia article about them.

genre - the games genre (type). Use a Game Genre Template

date - the release date of the game.

The next few parameters are links to more info. All are optional and all are relative links within the website in question (i.e. the part after the domain name)

wikipedia - a link to the [http://wikipedia.org article about the game

speeddemo - a link to the http://speeddemosarchive.com page about the game

timeattack - a link to the http://tasvideos.org page about the game

zanyquotes- a link to the http://zanyvgquotes.com page about the game

amazon- a link to the http://amazon.com page about the game (try to remove as much extra crud as possible from these links while still getting to the page.

gamewithus - a link to the http://gamewith.us page about the game to allow people to find players online (probably for PS3, Wii, DS, XBOX, X360, and PC games)

vistagamedoctor - a link to the http://www.vistagamedoctor.com/ page about the game (just use the number at the end http://www.vistagamedoctor.com/Game.aspx?GameId=19)

End of link parameters

speedtime - if a speed demo link was included, use this to specify the time the game was completed in.

timeattacktime - if a time attack link was included, use this to specify the time the game was completed in.
